CCOM is a 3 months (12 Weeks) course amounting to 300 hours course. CCOM is a complete practical oriented course for students interested in Construction Office Management, which includes 7 under-roof practical modules of Civil Engineering Project Management. On completion of this course, you will be able to understand and contribute to office work involved in construction work with higher precision. By doing this course, your outlook towards a construction project will be changed to a new perspective and you will be able to flourish in the industry with your command in the on-site construction work.

Fixture of Course
The entire duration of the course will be divided into 6 structured phases.
- Skill Development: 1 week of dedicated sessions covering interview cracking techniques, language skills, personal orientation, personality development, and interpersonal skills.
- Basic Practicality in Construction: 1 week of on-site orientation with exposure to various construction works.
- Classroom Instruction: 7 weeks of intensive classroom-based technical training.
- Advanced Practical Orientation: 2 weeks of attachment training with major construction companies as internship trainees.
- Project Preparation: 1 week allotted for project preparation and submission.
- Examination: Examination will be conducted by STED Council Authorities at the centre premises.

End state vision: Develop the ability to understand construction project requirements, work breakdown, comparative design of structures, BOQs, units and measurements, specifications, standard data, QS practices, preparation of measurement books, quantity take-offs from drawings, market-rate collection, resource analysis, estimates, charts, and value engineering.
End state vision: Understand construction planning requirements including WBS, calendars, activity properties, duration fixing, relationships and linking, resource assignment and leveling, milestones, PERT, CPM, network diagrams, progress updating, and informed decision-making.
End state vision: Develop competency in construction contracts management including contract types, conditions, notices, claims, documentation, extensions of time, variations, price escalation, additional payments, and contractual dispute handling.
End state vision: Gain expertise in cost control techniques including BOQs, rate analysis, unit costing, preparation of budgets covering variable and fixed costs, real-time cost monitoring, corrective actions, and ensuring project completion within budget limits.
End state vision: Understand the tendering process including tender types, prequalification, EMD, contract conditions, standards, BOQs, site visits, market-rate collection, construction methodology, equipment costing, overheads, profits, taxes, and bid preparation.
End state vision: Develop the ability to manage procurement, purchasing, hiring, logistics, inventory control systems, warehousing, stock management, GRN processing, quality checks, transportation, distribution, and inventory tracking for construction resources.
End state vision: Understand statutory rules and regulations applicable to construction including NBC, KMBR, KPBR, KSPCB, KSEB, aviation regulations, and other mandatory compliance requirements.
